Malnutrition remains a massive threat to the children of Sudan amid violent conflict and displacement. Over 3 million children under the age of five are projected to suffer from acute malnutrition in Sudan this year. UNICEF is supporting clinics in various locations to provide life-saving nutrition care.

The recent conflict in Lebanon left schools destroyed or heavily damaged, disrupting the education of children like 13-year-old Ali. Even with the ceasefire, school attendance remains low, according to a survey from earlier this year. UNICEF supported children throughout the war and is committed to continuing to support recovery and rebuilding efforts.

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck central Myanmar on 28 March has left millions of children at risk. UNICEF and partners have been responding to the crisis, delivering life-saving supplies to the hardest-hit areas, including essential medicines, hygiene kits and clean drinking water. Earlier this week, UNICEF flew in 80 metric tons of emergency supplies - the first humanitarian flight by an aid organization to land in Myanmar following the earthquake. UNICEF will not stop addressing the needs of children and families impacted. Donate now to join us: https://lnkd.in/gVkCxj94

Across the world, too many mothers face barriers to getting the nutrition and care they need, impacting their ability to learn, earn, and thrive. This cycle of undernutrition and poverty increases their risk of infections and life-threatening complications during pregnancy and childbirth. UNICEF has been working globally to ensure that every adolescent girl and woman has access to nutritious food, essential services, and proper healthcare, and supporting mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. However, ongoing global funding cuts risk reversing valuable progress. We need your help to ensure our work towards protecting maternal nutrition efforts continues. Join us. https://lnkd.in/g5VqBbaf

At 6, Yahia lost his legs in a shell explosion in Syria, which left him struggling, not just physically but emotionally. At 13, he is overcoming his trauma and regaining his confidence, thanks to a UNICEF-supported child protection programme and an inclusive school that is accessible to children with disabilities. "I can move around on my own now. There’s even a bathroom I can use without help," he says. #ForEveryChild a fair chance to learn, grow and dream.
