  • When disaster strikes, how do we rebuild stronger? In January 2025, wildfires devastated Los Angeles and surrounding areas, destroying homes, offices, schools, and infrastructure. This session explored ways real estate leaders and nonprofit housing providers can collaborate to create more affordable housing solutions. As ULI members have often noted, “While the industry cannot solve homelessness alone, it is a critical part of the solution.” We’re now working to shape ULI’s 10 Principles for Addressing Homelessness: A Guide for Real Estate & Finance and would appreciate your input.
