🤝 TRM Labs is partnering with the Aptos Foundation to integrate compliance and risk management directly into the #Aptos network — a next-gen Layer 1 blockchain built for speed, safety, and scalability. The protocol is powered by the breakthrough Move language, designed to evolve over time to improve performance and strengthen user safeguards. As Web3 adoption accelerates — particularly within financial services organizations — so does the demand for greater transparency, security, and risk management. To keep pace with a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, developers need tools that support compliance and mitigate risk without hindering innovation. This integration combines TRM’s industry-leading #compliance and risk management tools and Aptos’ scalable and secure Layer 1 infrastructure. The result enables builders to gain access to enhanced risk visibility across the network and make more informed decisions. We’re excited to continue partnering with Aptos Foundation to build a stronger foundation for trust and safety across the Web3 ecosystem.

🇸🇪 This week, TRM Labs was in Stockholm for 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, where Nordic law enforcement leaders and digital forensics experts came together to explore the latest in digital forensics and cybercrime investigation. Emma H. led a session on 𝐀𝐈-𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞, sharing real-world insights from TRM’s latest research — from deepfake scams to autonomous phishing agents. As threat actors adopt #AI to scale their operations, investigators must do the same. AI and #machinelearning have been part of TRM’s DNA since day one — helping teams detect threats faster, trace across chains, and make smarter decisions with less noise. Big thanks to DataExpert and all the Nordic agencies driving this important conversation forward. 📄 Curious to learn more about the evolution of AI-enabled threats? Every two minutes, on average, a cryptocurrency transaction takes place involving an address linked to child sexual abuse materials (CSAM). TRM identified that between 2022 and 2024, the crypto transaction volume linked to CSAM-related addresses increased by approximately 130%, underscoring a concerning upwards trajectory. However, there is reason for cautious optimism as law enforcement and #blockchainintelligence continue to play a vital role in dismantling CSAM networks, disrupting crypto-facilitated abuse, and bringing perpetrators to justice. In a recent blog post, TRM Labs examined the shifting CSAM ecosystem, focusing on the following trends: ☑️ CSAM vendors migrating to the dark web ☑️ Artificial intelligence (#AI)’s growing role in CSAM operations ☑️ Dark web CSAM scams decreasing while social media scams surge ☑️ CSAM consumers increasingly using intermediary addresses Dig into all these details — and more — here 👉 https://lnkd.in/etJvGzzz
