In partnership with the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB), Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Inc. (TSBRR), based in Delaware, US will be hosting The Effects of Oil on Wildlife Conference (EOW) October 13-17, 2025. Together, with our international partners, TSBRR and SANCCOB will continue EOW's lasting mission to champion best practices and foster engagement in improving preparedness to mitigate the potential impacts of oil on wildlife, as well as the rescue and treatment of animals impacted by oil and other pollutants.

Although few fractures require pin placement for stabilization, we're incredibly grateful for the resources and talented team that helped this juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk heal. After over a month of treatment, rest, and recovery, it was time for this little one to return to the wild, healed and whole. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the volunteers and donors who support our work and make stories like this one possible!
