It was some of the best hockey in the country, and of course TRIA was there! The NATIONAL COLLEGIATE HOCKEY CONFERENCE (NCHC) Frozen Four concluded in thrilling fashion on Saturday, with the Western Michigan Broncos defeating the Denver Pioneers in double overtime at the Xcel Energy Center. Our TRIA team was on-site all weekend, providing medical support for the tournament. We’re proud to stand behind athletes at every level, from youth sports to elite competition!

We're celebrating a big milestone at TRIA today. Twenty years ago, March 15, 2005, we opened our state of the art orthopedic center in Bloomington that encompassed all facets of musculoskeletal care. A group of distinguished orthopedic surgeons—Dr. Jeff Husband, Dr. John Steubs, Dr. Joel Boyd, Dr. David Fischer, Dr. Al Markman, and Dr. Marc Swiontkowski (pictured here at the groundbreaking)—pioneered a new model of orthopedic care in the Twin Cities. Their dedication, expertise, and bold vision were essential in making TRIA a reality. Today, TRIA has grown into a thriving network of 35 clinics, urgent care sites, and surgery centers, with over 1,900 team members delivering exceptional, patient-centered orthopedic care. Our innovative approach has not only distinguished us in Minnesota but has also set a precedent for orthopedic practices across the country. TRIA GameFace and its founder DeVentri Jordan is setting a new standard for performance training in the Midwest. NFL prospects are getting ready for the NFL Combine, and TRIA GameFace is bringing its NFL Combine Training to Minnesota. This training focuses on top-tier athletes preparing for the NFL Combine, but TRIA GameFace also trains elite athletes from all sports.

We love helping patients get back to doing the things they enjoy most. Often, their recovery process includes physical therapy. At TRIA our dedication isn’t just to the patient, but also to the future. This past weekend we celebrated 20 years of medical support at the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships! A huge thank you to the 50+ TRIA volunteers — our dedicated athletic trainers and physicians — who provided exceptional medical coverage at this year’s event! For two decades, TRIA has been proud to support this iconic event, keeping athletes safe on the ice. Congratulations to all the athletes who competed and to the Golden Shovel winning teams!

TRIA is proud to support community hockey and the upcoming 2026 World Juniors Championship! On February 1, TRIA Rink will host a new event called The Mayor's Cup. It's part of the lead up to the 2026 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Juniors Championship coming to St. Paul in December. Hosted by Mayors Melvin Carter and Jacob Frey, the game will feature a peewee hockey game between Saint Paul Edgcumbe Youth Hockey Association and the City of Lakes Youth Hockey Association. Minnesota Frost players, Lee Stecklein and Brooke Bryant will be in person to sign autographs and take photos. Minnesota legends, NHL and World Junior Alums, Neal Broten and Jordan Leopold will serve as the celebrity honorary coaches. Learn more about the event: https://bit.ly/4jEACNs
