We assembled an influential group of CEOs, founders and culture creators for a special The WIE Suite screening of the new Apple TV+ movie “Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Women in Hollywood”. The screening was followed by a conversation with the film’s director Shola Lynch, Allure Magazine Editor in Chief Jessica Cruel and Carol’s Daughter founder, Lisa Price about their experiences as black women in leadership and reaching the top in their respective fields. We laughed, we cried, we felt invincible.

Today, women are still fighting for the pay they deserve. The pay gap persists, with women having to work far longer to match what the average white man earned last year—a gap that’s even wider for women of color. On this Equal Pay Day, we celebrate @GloriaSteinem, whose bold leadership and unflinching demand for equality challenged the system and continues to inspire the fight for equal pay. It’s time to close the gap.
