April is Autism Acceptance Month. At The JPI Group, this isn’t just a month on the calendar—it’s personal. Our very own CEO, Yom Douglas is a parent navigating the realities of autism every day. That lived experience shapes how we show up—with empathy, with awareness, and with a commitment to building a more inclusive world. Here’s what we’ve learned from her journey: • Empathy takes effort. Not every challenge is visible. Not every win is shared. But every step forward deserves recognition. • Progress doesn’t follow a script. Sometimes it’s a word. A regulated moment. A day without crisis. That’s growth—and it counts. • Inclusion must be intentional. Real inclusion means designing systems that welcome every kind of brilliance—not just what fits the mold. Autism is part of our communities, our families, and our leadership. We’re proud to keep listening, learning, and building spaces where everyone has the chance to thrive. #AutismAwarenessMonth #LeadershipThatListens #Neurodiversity #BuildDifferently #JPIGroup #DesignForEveryone

US electricity demand is projected to grow 50% by 2050, driven by data centers and transportation electrification, according to a new NEMA-backed study reported in UtilityDive. Meeting that demand requires more than infrastructure—it demands a workforce strategy. ▪️ Technology alone isn’t enough. Smart grids, battery storage, and distributed energy systems depend on skilled workers for deployment and reliability. ▪️ Regional demand will vary. Texas and the Mid-Atlantic will lead in data center energy use; the Northeast and West in EV growth. Tailored workforce development must follow. Investing in upskilling now ensures energy efficiency programs are scalable, resilient, and inclusive. The energy transition depends on people—prepared to lead it. When Virginia Rodriguez, PRC first joined The JPI Group, she didn't have a background in talent sourcing. She came to us —originally applying for a different role. But what we saw in Virginia was more than a resume. We saw heart. Drive. Curiosity. We took a chance—and Virginia ran with it. Today, she’s a Senior Talent Sourcer and an irreplaceable part of The JPI family. She’s helping clients in the energy efficiency industry build diverse teams and making a real impact by growing the workforce of tomorrow. Virginia’s journey is a reminder that growth happens when we invest in people—and that teamwork, mentorship, and belief in each other can change lives. Watch her story in her own words. ⬇️ #JPIGroup #EnergyEfficiency #VoicesOfJPI #Teamwork #CareerGrowth #WorkforceDevelopment #GreenJobs #WomenInEnergy #Upskilling #LatinasInLeadership #CleanEnergyCareers

Appreciate this thoughtful spotlight from our partners at CareerEquity. This work means a lot to us. When utility projects are designed with community in mind, the impact goes far beyond infrastructure. It’s about hiring local talent, supporting small businesses, and opening doors to real, long-term careers—especially for people who have historically been left out of these opportunities. We’ve seen what’s possible when utilities, training providers, and local businesses come together with a shared purpose. It’s not just about jobs—it’s about building stronger, more inclusive communities. Grateful to be in this work alongside partners like CareerEquity. Their post below says it all. Utility projects are more than just infrastructure upgrades—they’re opportunities to strengthen local economies. A new look at these important local projects by our strategic partner @the-jpi-group shows how utilities are boosting local economies with a commitment to hiring local talent and partnering with local businesses and training providers. Local empowerment strategies include: • Investing in Training: Partnering with local organizations to develop workforce training programs. • Prioritizing Local Contracts: Working with small businesses to support local supply chains. • Fostering Inclusion: Developing programs that provide opportunities for underrepresented communities. By connecting utilities with local talent who have the career skills they need to thrive in the sector, and with local businesses that strengthen their supply chain, utility partners like JPI are helping drive positive, long-term impacts on our local communities. You can read more about workforce development partnerships within the utilities sector in the JPI blog, linked in the first comment below. . . . #TheJPIGroup #CleanEnergyJobs #WorkforceDevelopment

The competition for top energy talent is heating up. According to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), over 149,000 clean energy jobs were added in 2023—growing twice as fast as the overall job market. That’s great news for the industry, but it also means the demand for skilled workers is outpacing supply. At The JPI Group, we’re often asked: What’s the key to attracting and keeping the best talent in today’s energy sector? The answer isn’t a quick fix — it’s a strategic approach. ▪️ Start by investing in training that gets people job-ready fast. ▪️ Build partnerships with workforce boards and local schools. ▪️ Make sure your hiring efforts are inclusive and create real pathways for people to grow their careers. The #implementers and #employers that focus on people and development today will be the ones leading the clean energy transition tomorrow. #EnergyJobs #CleanEnergyWorkforce #WorkforceDevelopment #EnergyTalent #Sustainability #DiversityInEnergy #JPIGroup #TheJPIWay

In recognition of Women’s History Month, let’s set our sights on what’s next. Without an inclusive workforce, the energy transition will be incomplete. Women are one of the most underrepresented groups in the home performance sector today, where just 14% of the skilled trades are women. We know: ▪️ It pays to have diverse teams as they deliver better results. ▪️ Clean energy sector needs a broader, more inclusive talent pipeline. ▪️ Representation in trades is still pretty far from equitable. The Pivot to Growth: The Green Economy CoLab, launched by Women.NYC in partnership with The JPI Group’s Workforce Planning team, is working to shift this narrative by: ▪️Providing mentorship opportunities ▪️Conducting mindset shifting workshops ▪️Providing industry exposure especially for women Barbara Stapleton, MSc and Andrea Garcia-Fernandez from The JPI Group dive deeper into this work in their article in in the Building Performance Association Journal: “Building an Inclusive Future: Attracting More Women to Home Performance.” Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/gkfrJWNK #WorkforceDevelopment #SkilledTrades #CleanEnergyJobs #GreenEconomy #EnergyTransition #TheJPIGroup #TheJPIWay #WomensHistoryMonth
