  • In the past few weeks, Texas Guadaloop had the incredible opportunity to attend and present at the SOLIDWORKS World Convention, where we brought light to our work in hyperloop technology and the engineering that powers it. We demonstrated how we can bring our designs to life—modeling the LIM stator, printing custom bobbins, and creating an effective EMI shield, all critical components that drive our pod's performance and reliability. Additionally, we had the chance to speak with industry professionals from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds, exchanging ideas and receiving invaluable feedback. One of the most exciting highlights was getting the opportunity to connect directly with the CEO of SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Systèmes and share our mission of advancing sustainable, high-speed transportation. The alignment between our work—pushing the boundaries of hyperloop design and SOLIDWORKS’ commitment to engineering innovation made this experience incredibly meaningful. Seeing how their tools empower teams around the world to iterate, build, and transform industries reminded us of the role design plays in shaping the future! 🛠️🚄💨 #SolidWorks #TexasGuadaloop #DassaultSystemes #EngineeringInnovation #Hyperloop #FutureOfTransportation #StudentEngineers #TechLeadership #DesignToBuild

The European Hyperloop Week 2024 @ Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich 🚄 In 2024, the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich was proud to host the European Hyperloop Week, a student-driven competition that brought together 24 teams from 13 countries. Over the course of a week, around 400 students showcased their innovations, competed across various disciplines, and exchanged knowledge. Supporting the student-led organizing committee and hosting so many bright minds at the park was both a unique challenge and a true privilege. Beyond providing logistical support for the competition, I had the pleasure of co-organizing the "Innovate Mobility 2024" conference alongside Steffen Hartmann (EuroTube). The conference brought together 150 representatives from industry and academia to discuss critical mobility topics, including the role Hyperloop systems will play in future mobility ecosystems. A special thanks goes to Thomas Hug-Di Lena, whose outstanding moderation helped drive these essential discussions – both during the event and beyond, as the conversation continued on social media. The synergy between the European Hyperloop Week and the Innovate Mobility conference was truly inspiring: Conference attendees gained direct insights into the latest developments from the student teams 🚄. Students had the opportunity to place their technical innovations into a broader context and better understand their contributions to advancing Hyperloop systems. For me, this combination perfectly exemplifies the role of the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich: serving as both a physical space 🏢 for ambitious student projects and test facilities (like the Demotube) and as a platform for discussions 🤝 on the impact of future technologies. This week, filled with enthusiasm, innovation, and a sense of possibility, will stay with me for a long time. For those who couldn’t attend, Damian Derungs and his team at at all Production captured the spirit of the Hyperloop Week in an amazing aftermovie: 🎥 https://lnkd.in/dX9uJHhn. A massive thank you to everyone who made this vision a reality: - The incredible EHW organizing team: Andrea Anliker, Damaris Bartholet, Louis Chambre, Grégory de Meurichy, Thomas Baptistal and @Sven Prinz. - Nino Birrer and Ender Özmen for their continous support with infrastructure. And to Thierry Tardent for the cool outstanding cooperation between ETH Hangar Team and IPZ. - The student teams: Delft Hyperloop, Hyperloop UPV, Swissloop, Tachyon Hyperloop, Texas Guadaloop, Vegapod Hyperloop | MIT World Peace University], and mu-zero HYPERLOOP – thank you for the incredible energy and collaborative spirit! - Steffen Hartmann and the whole team of @Eurotube for co-organizing Innovate Mobility, and Thomas for his brilliant moderation. - Davide Ferrari for all the tremendous support with his red forklift - And, of course, all the people behind the scenes who ensured everything ran smoothly.

  • Over the past two weekends, Texas Guadaloop had the opportunity to tour The Boring Company's facility! It was inspiring to see the groundbreaking work being done to build the future of transportation. We would like to thank Patrick Dyer for organizing such a detailed tour and providing a comprehensive look at the company’s infrastructure and vision. Seeing the alignment between our work—Texas Guadaloop developing the next mode of transportation, and The Boring Company building the infrastructure to support it was incredibly motivating.   Witnessing their progress and dedication to innovation was a highlight of the visit. This experience, just 30 miles outside of the city, reminded us all of the potential for technology to transform urban transport and beyond. Thank you to The Boring Company team for the warm welcome and inspiration!   Boring>🐌 #Innovation #FutureOfTransportation #TexasGuadaloop #TheBoringCompany #Technology #Infrastructure #Teamwork
