⚡ Alum in Action! ⚡ The Bronx STEAM Center launches this fall and Alumni Board member Maha Hasen (NY '16) is the Founding Principal! Maha has spent her career creating exciting, new pathways for students in the Bronx, ones that are directly inspired by their interests and intentionally designed to prepare them for the future. 👏
I am so excited to share that I will be launching the Bronx STEAM Center this September 2025 🎉! After saying goodbye to Fordham High School for the Arts—my home for over eight years— I have spent the past few months planning with students, community partners, and school leaders the for the launch of the Bronx’s first career-connected learning hub with a focus on healthcare and technology! I’m thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with Montefiore Medical Center to have our launch pathways include: 🩺Certified Nursing Assisting 🔬Certified Medical Assisting 🔓Cybersecurity The Bronx STEAM Center aims to equip students with the skills, experiences, and guidance needed to thrive in high-demand careers.
