#WLAM2025 | Landscape Architects go beyond Boundaries 📍 Raleigh Iron Works | Raleigh, NC The Iron Works district, formerly the site of Peden Steel, includes two historic warehouse structures that were re-purposed for modern uses. The district features office, residential, retail, and parking spaces, and connects to an adjacent adaptive reuse warehouse project, forming a creative hub near downtown Raleigh. A defining feature of Raleigh Iron Works is its sustainable design, incorporating salvaged materials to celebrate its industrial heritage while reducing environmental impact. Native and adaptive plantings create a resilient green framework that connects the site's spaces. This commitment to sustainability and thoughtful design has earned Raleigh Iron Works prestigious recognition, including LEED Neighborhood Development Gold (LEED-ND), the 2024 NC ASLA Honor Award, and TCREW’s 2023 Best Redevelopment Project. #StewartLAND #landscapearchitecture #StrengtheningCommunities #FutureGreen American Society of Landscape Architects Grubb Ventures LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. It's uplifting to see the helpers keeping our friends, teammates, and partners in Greenville safe. Thank you, #GCFD and City of Greenville, South Carolina!
‼️ THURSDAY MORNING WILDFIRE UPDATE ‼️ Doubled and tripled in size. Fire has scorched 4500+ acres at Table Rock and 1500+ near Caesar's Head and Bald Rock. There is an air quality alert in our region due to fine particles from wildfire smoke. The air is especially dangerous for those suffering from chronic respiratory disease. #GCFD encourages you to keep windows and doors closed and avoid outdoor activity if possible. Since Saturday, GCFD has supplied 37 firefighters, (1) Engine, (1) Battalion, (1) Brush truck and the Mobile Command Post. This equipment is operating continuously with crews working overtime on rotating on 12-hour shifts. Additionally, the City's 9-1-1 Dispatch Director assisted with set-up for interagency communications on scene. #GCFD Chief Brian Horton is coordinating with state and local officials on resource requests. Behind-the-scenes, personnel are scheduling overtime and staffing so we can serve the greater community while still providing excellent emergency services to the residents of the City of Greenville.

Congratulations to the Town of Holly Springs! Stewart is happy to have been a part of this needed project! #StewartStructures #StrengtheningCommunities.
It was all smiles and celebration as the Town of Holly Springs officially opened Fire Station 3! 🚒 Joining Holly Springs Mayor Sean Mayefskie and Town Council Members were State and Wake County elected officials, local business leaders, students, and community members to mark this important public safety milestone. The opening concluded with a traditional hose uncoupling. While ribbon-cuttings are common for grand openings, the fire service has its own way of marking a new beginning, with the uncoupling of a fire hose to symbolize that the station is officially in service, ready to protect and serve the people of Holly Springs.
