RMR’s CIO Greg Carey (pictured far right), moderated a panel at RETCON 2025 on the importance of centralization tactics for multifamily operations. Greg shared how centralization can improve on-site productivity and lead to greater resident satisfaction, while reducing operational costs. Last month, the team completed the transformation of 18307 Talavera Ridge in San Antonio, TX from a single-tenant medical office building into a vibrant, dynamic, multi-tenant property. Upgrades to the 145,260 square foot property include: → A redesigned lobby with more natural light and colorful furniture that creates a more welcoming environment. → Expanded coworking areas with new seating and flexible desks to promote collaboration. → A new 150kWH generator to ensure power reliability and continuity of business operations. Tremont Realty Capital, the commercial real estate finance division of RMR, originates and invests in floating rate first mortgage loans secured by middle market transitional commercial real estate. Last month, the team attended the MBA-CREF 2025 Conference in San Diego and shared insights from the event.  

Congratulations to the management team at Twelve24 in Dunwoody, GA, for winning The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award from BOMA Georgia in the Corporate Facility category. Twelve24 is a 16 floor, 357,650 square foot property featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple roof decks that create an indoor/outdoor environment blending workspace with surrounding greenery. Sustainable design elements integrated into the building include rainwater filtration systems and occupancy sensors that harvest daylight. Additionally, Alvéole beehives installed on the amenity deck support urban beekeeping. The Twelve24 team’s efforts have been praised for exceptional operational management and strong tenant relations.
