Another tough moment in the search for a pharmaceutical breakthrough in Alzheimer’s care: Alzheon’s much-anticipated pill has failed its Phase 3 clinical trial. These kinds of setbacks are heartbreaking—for families hoping for more time, more connection, more them. And they’re a reminder: we’re still a long way from medication being the answer. That’s why we built Rippl. To bring more good days to people living with dementia—and to the loved ones who care for them—right now. Because people living with dementia can’t wait. #moregooddays #LIVINGwithdementia #createarippl

🚑 I say it a lot -- seniors with dementia end up in the ER and hospital way too often. But to hear it from a ER doctor, who sees it in technicolor everyday, puts a much more dramatic point on this rapidly growing problem. Super humbling to hear from Seattle Emergency Room MD Tara Garland last night on what's really happening in our ERs. And, why it's so critical we get ahead of it. Really hard to hear these stories, because many (if not most) are entirely avoidable. Keeping seniors with dementia out of the ER and hospital is exactly what Rippl does through our unique relationship with the Alzheimer's Association®. Called the 'Dementia Care Navigation Service', we wrap around dementia patients and families early, getting them the support and care they need to ensure the ER doesn't become their go-to, like it has for so many families. Remarkably, this program is entirely free to patients with traditional Medicare. Big, big thanks to Kathy Jacobi Hansen, Jim Wilgus and Alzheimer's Association, Washington State Chapter for the shout-out about our partnership at last night's community gathering supporting Seattle's upcoming Help and Hope Dinner (May 31st!). Help and Hope raises $ to fund disease research and innovation at the Alzheimer's Association®. Rippl is a proud sponsor of Help and Hope this year, get tickets here: https://lnkd.in/gC78Giud. Come join us for an amazing cause! #moregooddays #LIVINGwithdementia

Coordinated care is crucial for individuals with Alzheimer's and related dementias. A recent study in JAMA Network Open found that dual-eligible beneficiaries with ADRD enrolled in Fully Integrated Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans experienced fewer preventable hospitalizations and readmissions. This is another validation for the specialized, coordinated, longitudinal care model that Rippl has developed. Fewer preventable hospitalizations and readmissions equate to real cost savings and benefit patients and caregivers with #moregooddays.

🔴 Excited to bring the dementia care crisis to the TEDx stage on April 12th here in Seattle 🔴🔴 Honored to have been selected by tedxatuofw to frame up one of the biggest and most difficult healthcare challenges that exists today. And, most importantly, share some bold ideas on how we as a community can work together to deliver far better care to seniors struggling with this disease -- along with their caregivers and family. As Boomers live longer, dementia is expected to grow by a factor of 10. And, we are woefully unprepared. While the challenge is giant, there is so much we can do. Starting with... 🔇 Breaking the STIGMA associated with dementia. And, STOP whispering. 🚑 Expanding care access with innovative, evidence-based models 🪙 Funding NEW proven approaches that deliver better outcomes 🌱 Inspiring and training a workforce to do this noble work (quick) Excited to share the stage with some of the smartest, most passionate community thinkers and leaders I've come to know -- Gresshaa Mehta, Ana Pinto da Silva, Diana Vicezar, Reginald 'Doc' Wilson & Michael Wang. I hope you will join us for tedxatuofw 2025! Tickets here: https://lnkd.in/gZBMNZGU

We are proud to see our value-based care model featured in Forbes today. Rippl is delivering comprehensive dementia care for seniors and their caregivers while pioneering risk sharing models with payors. Dementia is one of the largests, fastest-growing, and most costly challenges in healthcare today but it doesn't have to be. Comprehensive virtual dementia care with a model that pays for outcomes, not volume, is the best way to expand access and deliver high-quality dementia care. Thank you to Monica Moreno with Alzheimer's Association® and Rebecca Summers, MBA at Springfield Clinic for working with us on one of healthcare's most urgent challenges. #moregooddays #valuebasedcare https://lnkd.in/gGuhdAHi
