Our staff had the incredible opportunity to join DignityMoves and HomeFirst for the Adopt-A-Unit program at Modesto and the Via del Oro site in San Jose. We adopted two units that are prepared to welcome unhoused neighbors into a safe, dignified, and supportive community. We look forward to the grand opening of Via del Oro on April 24th: huge thanks to the team at DignityMoves for the chance to be part of something so meaningful! #CommunityImpact #VolunteerWork #EndingHomelessness #DignityMoves #SanJose #ViaDelOro

PAE is committed to fostering the next generation of sustainable design professionals. This past winter, we had the privilege of hosting Zachary Golden as an intern in our Regenerative Design Group, supported by Energy Trust of Oregon's 𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (𝗡𝗭𝗘𝗟𝗜) 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁. Zachary focused on reporting data on our projects' 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, aligning with our commitment to 𝗠𝗘𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟰𝟬. Specifically, he analyzed implementation barriers to achieving MEP 2040 targets with a goal of identifying processes and solutions to achieve our goals over the next five years. As his internship comes to a close, he will present his findings alongside a cohort of interns from other firms at an upcoming event on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟴𝘁𝗵, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬–𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠. We’re proud of Zachary’s contributions and excited to see the impact of these internship opportunities in advancing climate-conscious design. Join us in supporting these future sustainability leaders! Register for the presentation here: https://lnkd.in/gs3rGnBP

A few of our team members had the incredible opportunity to join forces with ELSO and Studio Justice to inspire the next generation of engineers. Exploring Engineering Day empowers youth in grades 1–8 to engage with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAMED) in a hands-on, interactive way—like building LEGO robots! Our PAE team shared their passion for engineering, offering advice, encouragement, and real-world tips to spark curiosity and inspire future career paths in STEAMED fields. Come check out my Zero Net Carbon Design presentation at AIA East Bay's first Zero Net Carbon Design Day this Wednesday, April 2, 2025. We will be discussing embodied carbon, whole-life carbon assessments, and the power of advanced building performance modeling to drive informed design decisions. The presentations will demystify the path to designing net-zero carbon buildings. Achieving NZC is both practical and accessible. Come join the discussion to learn how. This is a great chance to complete the 5-hour ZNCD Licensure Requirement in one day. Register for in-person or virtual attendance here: https://lnkd.in/gAmX_5ny

Progress is faster, goals are easier, and our most ambitious dreams are realized sooner when we work together. #BCorpMonth is all about the B Corp™ community—a generation of people using business as a force for good across industries, regions, and cultures. As we wrap up March's B Corp Month, we're proud to be part of that community.
