Energy-efficient equipment upgrades help healthcare facilities cut costs and leave more resources for improving patient care. Energy Trust’s Strategic Energy Management offering helped maintenance staff at the Samaritan Health Services hospitals in Albany and Lebanon find ways to save on utility bills with updated equipment. These projects also qualified for cash incentives, making them more affordable.

We are seeking qualified applicants for our annual Net Zero Fellowship. Energy Trust of Oregon awards up to two grants, not exceeding $60,000 each, for an approximately 12-month research project. Apply for our Net Zero Fellowship before May 2 and join the ranks! https://lnkd.in/g6AWeYBX The Net Zero Fellowship addresses barriers to net-zero buildings while fostering a community of practitioners advancing commercial net-zero energy design and construction in Oregon and Washington. Our current Net Zero Fellow, Maggie Harris with Holst Architecture, is developing a new approach to post-occupancy evaluations in multifamily buildings. By centering on firsthand resident feedback, she is helping to strengthen the link between intended building experience and the lived building experience in affordable housing projects.
