Oxford Ionics has been selected for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)'s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative! 🚀 DARPA is the United States’ primary research and development agency focused on identifying cutting-edge technologies with the potential for national security applications. Through its QBI initiative, DARPA is verifying and validating the quantum computing approaches that can achieve utility-scale operation by the year 2033. Oxford Ionics has been selected by DARPA to advance to the first round of QBI after demonstrating its existing technology capabilities and sharing its roadmap towards fault-tolerant quantum computers.
