Quantum Motion is excited to announce the appointment of Hugo Saleh as our President and CCO. Welcome to the team! Hugo, who has over 25 years of leadership experience at global and scale-up tech firms, will drive the company’s global expansion as well as building the company’s commercial business, targeting key markets and helping customers deploy utility-scale machines. The appointment coincides with the company’s incorporation in the United States, in addition to recently opening offices in Australia and Europe. James Palles-Dimmock, CEO of Quantum Motion, said, “Hugo’s track record at industry-defining companies like Google and Intel speaks volumes. His deep commercial expertise and proven capability in scaling technology businesses will significantly accelerate our global commercialisation efforts. With annual review season has had me buried in data crunching, and this week's Culture Night was the perfect mid-week reset! 🎨 With over 25 nationalities represented at Quantum Motion, our Culture Nights started as a way to share traditions, food, and stories - but they’ve grown into something even more: a way to unwind, connect, and get creative together. From bold abstracts to surreal dreamscapes - I'm in awe of the talent on display! A special shoutout to Jonathan Trott and Rebecca F. for their imaginative take on Schrödinger’s Cat and Alexander Waterworth and Eoin Kelly for a stunning perspective on a dilution fridge - such a great reminder of the many ways we see and interpret the world. A huge thank you to Nicole Castillo-Mauro for keeping this tradition going and creating a space where we can come together, learn from one another, and have some fun along the way! #LifeatQM

James: "Nature at its deepest level is quantum mechanical, and so if we want to understand that, we need to able to have a computer that allows us to delve inside and look at nature at its deepest level and thats a quantum computer." Very proud of the whole team to announce that Quantum Motion and our close partner UCL have been selected by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Innovate UK for the UK's #QuantumMissions pilot! We are fully aligned with the UK Quantum Missions, committed to delivering #quantumcomputers capable of large-scale commercialisation and delivered using CMOS transistor #technology. This builds on our successful work to date with National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) and is something we are looking forward to extending with this very significant contract.
