Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association for LGBTQ people in the STEM community. With almost 90 student chapters at colleges/universities and professional chapters in cities across the United States and abroad, oSTEM is the largest chapter-based organization focused on LGBTQ people in STEM. oSTEM empowers LGBTQ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy.

As Region F Coordinator, you'll strengthen our chapter network and support LGBTQ+ STEM students and professionals across the West Coast (WA, ID, CA, NV, HI, AZ, and AK). This rewarding role takes just 2-4 hours per week, can be done remotely, and creates lasting impact. Our STEM community knows the power of innovation in addressing environmental challenges. We can all commit to eco-friendly practices in our labs, workplaces, and daily lives.   • #WorldHealthDay is here! Today, we join the global community in celebrating healthcare professionals and advocating for equitable access to quality healthcare worldwide. From groundbreaking research to compassionate patient care, healthcare workers make a difference every day. World Health Day was established by the WHO in 1948! Today we celebrate not just healthcare achievement, but also the vital intersection of LGBTQ+ healthcare needs and STEM innovation. Together, we can build a more inclusive and accessible healthcare system.

  • Today is #InternationalAsexualityDay! Asexuality is a sexual orientation where a person experiences little to no sexual attraction. Like all orientations, asexuality exists on a spectrum, and ace people can have varied experiences with attraction, relationships, and intimacy.
