We’re proud to share that our CEO, Brian Zotti, was recently published in The Sacramento Bee, where he addressed a critical issue facing California: proposed federal cuts to Medi-Cal that could remove $10–$20 billion in annual funding. These cuts would force the state into difficult choices—and put essential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) at serious risk. As Brian shared, “Medi-Cal is more than doctor visits. It funds direct support professionals, job training, and community-based programs that empower people with IDD to live independently—with dignity and purpose.” We’re grateful for Brian’s leadership and advocacy.
