Starting today, memory in ChatGPT can now reference all of your past chats — not just your saved memories. This should feel much more natural, as if you’re talking with a real assistant. This is a big step forward for ChatGPT. Even the best human assistants are only so helpful on day one. I think we’ll look back on memory as a foundational building block of general‑purpose intelligence. Rolling out to Pro and Plus in most countries now. You’ll know you have access when you see “improved dialogue” pop up. Can’t wait to hear what you think!

The most requested feature from our ChatGPT business customers? Connecting ChatGPT to internal knowledge sources. That’s why I’m especially excited to share that we’re starting to roll out internal knowledge in beta for ChatGPT Team customers. ChatGPT can now connect to your org’s Google Drive workspace, pulling in internal knowledge in real time to provide more personalized responses. We’re rolling it out gradually to Team customers over the next few weeks. Admins will get a notification in ChatGPT when it’s ready to set up for their workspace. 🎥 Check out the demo below—we’ve been using internal knowledge at OpenAI for a few weeks, and it’s already changed how we onboard new team members, prep for meetings, and unblock work. 🔍 One of my favorite parts: over time the model learns your org’s unique language—project names and acronyms, and team-specific terms—while respecting your user permissions so responses are grounded in the right context. 💥 Today we're rolling out a *major* update to image generation in ChatGPT! The model is now quite good at following complex instructions, including detailed visual layouts. It's very good at generating text. It can do photorealism or any number of other styles. Btw—if you explicitly ask for something edgy (within reason), the model should respect your intent. As we said in our model spec, giving users creative control matters, and we'll continue listening and adapting based on feedback. Bottom line, this new image gen model is better at expressing all of your creativity, and we can't wait to see what you create. A few months ago, I asked ChatGPT "based on what you know about me, draw me a picture of what you think my current life looks like." Below is that image, and what I got from the same prompt today with our new image gen model.
