We've developed a groundbreaking open specification that enables OpenADR and Matter to work together, enabling mass-market, consumer-friendly grid demand response solutions. Demand Side Response service providers (DSRSPs) and Energy Smart Appliance (ESA) manufacturers can use this bridging specification to unlock the inherent energy flexibility that’s contained in household white goods appliances, EV charging, water heating, electric heating, solar and battery storage systems. ENA, Elexon, National Energy System Operator and the OpenADR Alliance have signed a letter of intent to collaborate and further develop an internationally accepted standard, called OpenADR 3.0. The new standard will be used for interoperable flexibility dispatch systems in the GB flexibility market. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dRCW_DKZ

That's a wrap on an electrifying week in Dallas at DISTRIBUTECH 2025. Some of the highlights: ✅ Announcement of our first OpenADR 3.0 certified products with E.ON EVoke Systems and Universal Devices, Inc. ✅ In-depth discussions with members and industry partners including: Kaluza, Codibly, Resideo Grid Services, EnergyHub, Salt River Project Landis+Gyr Itron, Inc. Parsons Corporation, Metergram, India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), PLMA (@PLMAflm) and more. ✅ A packed exhibit floor which included over 20 OpenADR member companies providing networking opportunities and insight into new OpenADR solutions and programs. ✅ Engaging sessions and keynotes giving a glimpse of the future of the industry. ✅ Oh and we cannot forget the adorable puppies!
