In partnership with Great Hearts, we’re thrilled to announce the opening of a new K-5 campus at South Mountain in August 2025, Great Hearts Christian Academies! This private school will provide a Christ-centered, classical education, where students will grow in their faith while succeeding academically. We’re honored to partner in this mission and bring this incredible opportunity to our Arizona community!

This week, the Open Sky Education National Leadership Team, EAGLE College Preparatory Schools principals, and HOPE Christian Schools principals met in Arizona for the annual Principal Summit. Our time together was filled with discussing the future of education, listening to new ideas, addressing challenges, collaborating for growth, and brainstorming to serve our students better. We wanted to share some great news! Today the Wisconsin state report cards were released, and we learned that HOPE Christian Schools outperformed MPS, Racine Unified, and the WI state averages for total learning (measured by academic growth) this past year! The hard work of our scholars, their families and the teams at HOPE Christian Schools and Open Sky Education is paying off! Thanks to all who have contributed in so many ways to advancing our mission!

HOPE Christian Schools has a new leader! Edie Martwick will serve as Regional Executive Director of Open Sky Education’s Wisconsin region. With over 20 years of experience in the school choice movement, Edie brings a wealth of expertise that she will use to enhance and grow HOPE Christian Schools. Under her leadership, HOPE Christian Schools will provide high-quality Christian education to every scholar every day!

During the beautiful Wisconsin fall weather, the Open Sky Education team took a break and went apple-picking as part of our team bonding efforts outside the office!
