Olmsted Medical Center reposted this
Understanding the patient experience is so important to effective wound management and outcomes. So we are sharing a selection of patient success stories that wound clinics and health systems have posted across the web – like this one from Olmsted Medical Center (Rochester, MN) from a young Ronald McDonald House staffer and foster dog mom who struggled with a post-surgical wound that wouldn’t heal. https://buff.ly/40FxaJH #PatientVoice #PatientExperience #PatientCenteredCare #wounds #woundmanagement #woundhealing #WoundCare

On March 21, our Orthopedics team showed their support for World Down Syndrome Day by rocking brightly colored, mismatched socks! This fun tradition celebrates diversity and raises awareness about Down syndrome. 👟 Why socks? Chromosomes look like mismatched socks, and people with Down syndrome have an extra copy of chromosome 21. 💙 We're especially proud to honor one of our staff members whose son has Down syndrome — check out the heartwarming photo! #WorldDownSyndromeDay #InclusionMatters #OMCCares #OrthopedicsTeam
