As part of Carolina Engagement Week, Carolina Across 100 launched the 2025 POV Challenge, inviting #UNC students to share their perspectives on affordable housing in North Carolina. Twelve teams used data-driven approaches to respond to prompts about the state’s housing challenges and community strategies to address the issues. Explore the student submissions for the 2025 POV Challenge! 🎉 🐏 Students were asked to help us better understand and increase awareness of affordable housing needs and challenges in North Carolina as well as the strategies communities are employing to address these challenges. First up are our two winners of the 2025 POV Challenge: Team 9 focused on the intersections of affordable housing, hurricanes, and mobile homes while Team 10 highlighted the stories of four individuals experiencing affordable housing challenges.
