  • On Wednesday, Superintendent Mo Green finished the final week of his #MoWantsToKnowNC tour in the Northeast Region! Starting with Bertie County Schools, Superintendent Green visited Windsor Elementary where he observed several classrooms and chatted with students and educators. Later he visited an apartment complex designated for teachers in Bertie County Schools and learned about the district efforts to recruit and retain teachers in the area. Next on his tour of the Northeast Region, he stopped by several schools in Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools, handing out snow cones, high fives and helping with carpool duty. In the evening, Northeastern High hosted our final in-person Mo Wants to Know Listening and Learning Session. Superintendent Green asked community members to share what's working in public education, what are some challenges, and solutions to the challenges and what are some big ideas for public education. Thank you to everyone—students, families, staff, and community members—who joined Superintendent Mo Green in each region to share, listen, and help shape the future of public education in North Carolina.
