Last week, Mohawk team members and Dalton-Whitfield Latino Leadership Institute participants had the honor of attending the Latin American Association’s 36th Annual Compañeros Luncheon at the Georgia Aquarium. Special thanks to the entire team at our Wood & Laminate manufacturing facility in Garner, NC, for hosting 18 college students, Dr. Saloni and Mr. Chappell from NC State University's Wood Products Technical Services Lab in the Department of Forest Biomaterials. The group toured our original (and first) Pergo manufacturing facility in the US. This facility produces high-quality Pergo laminate flooring and numerous other Mohawk brands by having Press, Milling, and Shipping Departments on-site. After the tour, our Technical team hosted a question-and-answer session for the students. A fun fact about this tour group is that two current Mohawk employees previously worked in the Wood Products Technical Services Lab for Dr. Saloni while they were students at NC State! 👏 NC State: Wood Products Technical Services | North Carolina State University

Team Mohawk was pleased to host local high school students from the Dalton Academy at our Light Lab facility to present solutions for their 3DE Junior Achievement case challenge. Students had the opportunity to connect their education to real-world careers by collaborating in teams on a challenge created by Mohawk.
