General contractor Midstate Construction Corporation, and developer McCormack Baron Salazar in coordination with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency recently completed Mirasol Village Block C (formerly Twin Rivers), a new 84 unit mixed-income residential community in Sacramento, CA. Designed by SVA Architects Inc., Block C includes new construction of 7 two and three story buildings providing 84 units via one, two, three, and four bedroom layouts. Community spaces include a 1.2-acre community park, 2/3-acre community garden, fruit tree orchard, garden learning center, pool, playgrounds, and walking paths.  Mirasol Village Block C is the third phase of the four phase Mirasol Village redevelopment project, creating 427 units of mixed-income housing on a 22-acre parcel. Heritage House and Valle Verde Apartments General Contractor Midstate Construction Corporation, and developer Burbank Housing recently completed #construction of Heritage House and Valle Verde Apartments in Napa, CA. Designed by Gunkel Architecture, this project consists of two neighboring buildings: Heritage House, the #rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the vacant Sunrise assisted living facility into 66 units (58 studio and 8 one-bedroom apartments) for low income households, farmworkers and permanent supportive housing for people previously #unhoused; and Valle Verde Apartments, a new construction, three story multi-family apartment building providing 24 units (12 one-bedroom, 6 two-bedroom, and 6 three-bedroom apartments) of affordable housing made available to #farmworkers and working families. This cozy and inviting neighborhood sits on a 3-acre site in Napa, CA. Amenities available for residents include on-site supportive services, laundry facilities, play structure, basketball court, two community rooms, and multiple smaller residents lounges and spaces for engaging with neighbors and friends. General Contractor Midstate Construction Corporation, and owner Signorello Estate recently completed construction of the Signorello Fermentation Building which is part of the newly constructed Signorello Estate Winery in Napa, CA. Signorello Estate Winery was designed by Taylor Lombardo Architects, the scope of work included a state of the art 8,000 square foot Fermentation Building constructed by Midstate Construction, and an 11,000 square foot wine cave, constructed by The Cave Company. https://lnkd.in/gSa9Tpdk

The Vineyard has been awarded a 2024 PCBC Gold Nugget Award of Merit in the Best Supportive/Transitional Housing category! Thank you to all participants for your efforts to create this much-needed supportive housing project. Designed by Gunkel Architecture, the Vineyard scope of work included demolition of existing structures, and new construction of a mixed-use property, including (24) permanent supportive housing units, office meeting spaces, commercial kitchen, dining room, overnight shelter, showers, and laundry. Vineyard is an affordable housing development for extremely low-income households with histories of homelessness. It includes 10,000 sq. ft. of space for a commercial-grade kitchen, dining room, and homeless resource center. Open Heart Kitchen will operate the kitchen and dining room, providing hot meals 5 days a week for homeless and low-income neighbors, and an overnight 20-bed shelter for folks in crisis or experiencing homelessness. The homeless resource center will provide various services, including mental health, case management, housing navigation, and mailboxes.
