Diverse Teams Outperform

About us

MassVentures is the Commonwealth’s strategic venture capital team. We find, fund and foster early-stage deep tech that fuels economic growth across Massachusetts. We are a vital, comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs offering investment, non-dilutive grants, technical support and business guidance. “Diverse Teams Outperform” is our investment thesis, and we are intentional about supporting founders with diverse backgrounds or founders from diverse geographies in the state. MassVentures is a venture studio at its core with an emphasis on academic spinouts and converting research and early-stage ideas into companies. We seek to identify ideas at the very earliest prototype stage and provide much needed coaching, mentoring and funding to help convert those ideas into thriving companies to solve today’s biggest challenges for tomorrow’s generation. We establish long-term relationships with founders, aiding them on their journey from startup to growth company. If you're 1 of the 6,000 MA-based manufacturers, we want to hear from you! The Massachusetts Tariff Response and Business Operations Support Initiative (MA TRBO) has been established in response to the ongoing uncertainty and rapid changes surrounding U.S. federal tariffs, which continue to impact manufacturers across industries. As businesses face rising costs, supply chain disruptions, and sourcing challenges, MA TRBO aims to align state support and resources to help manufacturers navigate these dynamic conditions and strengthen the resilience of local manufacturers.

The Office of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey & the Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) launched the MA Tariff Response & Business Operations (MA TRBO, pronounced Turbo) Support Initiative. Through TRBO, CAM is assessing the impact recent tariffs have on MA manufacturers & how the state can provide support. CAM will assist MA manufacturer’s response to new & changing tariffs & uncertainty by: T – Tariff Impact Analysis: Monitoring how tariffs are impacting Massachusetts-based manufacturers through data collection   R – Response Strategy Development: Facilitating resources from the ecosystem to support plans to mitigate risks   B – Business Continuity Support: Partner coordination & alignment with available state or ecosystem resources   O – Operations Support for Supply Chain Resiliency: Supporting adaptability of supply chains in new tariff environments    Learn more about the MA TRBO Support Initiative: https://lnkd.in/eH58UXW5 #MassTRBO #MAManufacturing
