Massachusetts Technology Collaborative reposted this
The past 10-days have been an intense reminder of what our innovation ecosystem feels and looks like in action! For every event or engagement I was able to attend and highlight, there were numerous others I could not get to. I'll be adding this to my #SignsOfSpring list. It was great to connect with so many existing friends, colleagues, and collaborators while making countless others. 🚆 I hopped on the train to share how we have been pursuing federal funding at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and putting it to work through our #NEMC_Hub for a panel at Yale School of Management's Regional Economic Summit (David Kilroy, Peter Waggonner, Avrey Callis, Jodie Nazaka, AICP, Aishwarya Kuruttukulam) ✈️ The week included a few engagements with Hanscom Air Force Base (Mass.) and Adam Freudberg with the #MassTF to highlight MA's integrated approach to defense and security innovation. 🖥️ MIT Industrial Liaison Program (Graham R.) hosted a cross-campus AI Summit which included the work of NEMC Hub collaborator Jesus A. del Alamo and #AI architect Markus J. Buehler. 📢 Middlesex 3 Coalition (Stephanie Cronin) hosted a rounded table with some the MA Federal Delegation's staff to connect with manufacturers, universities, and regional businesses. 💡 The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy convened academic and business leaders to discuss the status and impact of quantum computing and networks, with talks from MassTech and NEMC Hub collaborators Will Oliver and Laura B. Andre. Lots of new ecosystem friends shown here: https://lnkd.in/eEG27uEv 🏙️ Welcoming IQT (In-Q-Tel) (Adam Esposito, Liz Fox) to their new MA location in Cambridge. ⚙️ The NEMC Hub (Kelly J., John Wetzel) sponsored the 2025 Technology & National Security Conference hosted jointly by the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Great job by Moises Enoc Navas, Clif Luber, Greg Knutson, and the whole team! More here: https://lnkd.in/eNC8dg2E 🧬 Sharing with the Netherlands Innovation Network in Boston's #RegenerativeMedicine mission attendees about all of the incredible enabling technologies in our ecosystem that are at the finger tips of MA's global life sciences sector #robotics, #additivemanufacturing, #bioindustrial. Great to see at Korkut Uygun work being presented there as well.
