🌍 Today is #WorldHealthDay — a perfect reminder that protecting human health also means rethinking the materials we use every day. 🥤 One invisible threat growing in our everyday lives comes from #microplastics released by #FoodPackaging. These substances can leach into what we eat and drink, slowly making their way into our bodies. 🧪 Many materials used in #packaging are persistent in the #environment and can stay in our systems and ecosystems for years. 💡 At Magno EU Project, we're committed to driving innovation in the food packaging industry. Through research, policy work, and circular solutions, we aim to reduce the health risks associated with food packaging #pollution — because a healthier environment starts with smarter design and #sustainable choices.

⚠️European #farmlands receive up to 10 times more #microplastics per hectare than the oceans. ❓Did you know that? Primarily due to plastic-containing #compost, #fertilizers, and irrigation water polluted by #waste. 🌱 #FoodPackaging #pollution doesn’t just harm our oceans—it’s degrading our soils too. From #landfills overflowing with plastic waste to #microplastics contaminating farmlands, our latest review explores the hidden impact of food packaging waste on #soil health and #biodiversity 🐄🌽 ❌ Plastics, aluminum, and toxic additives are seeping into agricultural lands, threatening food production and ecosystems.
