𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 & 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞! Yesterday, Executive Mark Hackel and Macomb County Department of Roads Director Bryan Santo shared exciting updates on the South River Road bridge project, highlighting the department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Macomb County’s infrastructure. Since 2019, Macomb County’s Department of Roads has tackled 38 bridge and culvert projects, enhancing safety and efficiency across the county. The impact? More bridges in great shape and fewer in critical condition! Today, 89% of the 225 bridges under their jurisdiction are rated fair or better. A true testament to the skill, dedication, and hard work of their incredible team. The Department of Roads continues to invest in infrastructure improvements and workforce development, ensuring their employees have the resources, training, and support needed to keep delivering high-quality projects for Macomb County.
