As part of our commitment to safeguarding youth sports organizations and communities, we’re introducing Registration Protection in partnership with Vertical Insure, Inc. and e-signature capabilities for waivers and agreements! "Offerings like these are a win-win: Families have more peace of mind in registering kids for sports programs, and organizations have fewer refund requests and the administrative hassle that comes with those requests," says Brian Litvack, CEO at LeagueApps. "This frees up organizations to focus on what matters most—creating meaningful sports experiences for kids.” Read more about the partnership below: https://lnkd.in/eTVGKHHT

We help make sports happen
About us
LeagueApps is the operating system and community for youth and local sports leaders—providing them with the technology and professional network they need to succeed. We’re building a movement behind our mission—creating amazing sports experiences for all. Through our FundPlay program, we donate a percentage of every dollar spent on our platform back to the communities and families that need it. Our goal is to impact 500,000 underserved kids by 2022. As Nelson Mandela said, “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.” At LeagueApps, we agree. Mission-driven at our core, every member of our team is committed to a world where all kids and communities can benefit from youth sports. We help leading youth sports organizations operate, engage, and win with the industry's most comprehensive youth sports management platform. We power thousands of clubs, camps, tournaments, and leagues, and reach millions of participants each day. Through our FundPlay program, we provide support to sports-based youth development organizations that bring sports experiences to hundreds of thousands of underserved kids and communities. We are also founding members and leaders of the PLAY Sports Coalition, a group that advocates for youth sports at the national level. Beyond our technology, we’re focused on developing the industry’s youth sports leaders through our NextUp: Youth Sports Management Community—providing them with opportunities for professional development and networking. Through events, content, and leadership development programming, we’re taking youth sports management to the next level. LeagueApps is positioned for continued rapid growth, with financing from leading institutional and individual investors including Contour Venture Partners, Major League Baseball, Elysian Park Ventures, Julie Foudy, and Shane Battier.

February is National Girls and Women in Sports Month—and over the years we’ve worked with so many incredible women who are leading youth sports organizations. This year at the NextUp conference, we even held a Women in Sports breakfast where we got to exchange ideas and support one another in a room filled with peers. That’s why it was so jarring to hear from Candace Crawford, Recreation Program Director of Montgomery Soccer Inc. | MSI., that she hasn’t met many female recreation program directors at all. As part of our effort to show young girls the career possibilities within sports that go beyond just playing so there are more women leading the charge in the future, we’re spotlighting four women in youth sports this National Girls and Women in Sports Month. Read the spotlight of these incredible women, including Julie Bruening at Open Field, Madison Hafitz, MPH at Atlanta Track Club, and Kristen Richards at PWHL, here: https://lnkd.in/e7APJGJS

Nichelle Simon is a coach, motivational speaker, former professional ice hockey player, a 2-time American Ninja warrior and a breast cancer survivor. To us, she is a teammate. As a lifelong athlete with a passion for hockey, she knows better than anyone that a guidebook to hockey for girls is not something easy to come by. So she decided to write it. Girls Rule the Ice!: A Girl's Guide to Ice Hockey is the ultimate guidebook for the girl who wants to get on the ice and play hockey. It aims to inspire girls in a field that is dominated by boys and men's teams, providing everything you want to know about the sport from a female perspective, from the rich history of women's hockey, to equipment, to the path and process of getting started, to becoming an elite hockey player. At LeagueApps, our whole team is made up of sports aficionados—and Nichelle is a shining example of that. If you have a budding female hockey player in your life, this is the book for her: https://lnkd.in/egneGdJy
