  • We want to thank community members, nearby neighbors, city leaders and the Stillwater Planning Commission for helping us reach the next phase in the design of the new HealthPartners Lakeview campus project. Using community feedback and insight from the city, we shared the latest version of our site plan, which includes a proposed traffic light at Manning Ave. and 62nd Street, a roundabout entrance to the campus off 62nd and the extension of Curve Crest Blvd. Last night, our Land Use Application was approved by the Planning Commission. The City Council will begin its review on April 15. In the meantime, we will continue to work with community members and the city to ensure our new campus meets the needs of the communities we serve and is something everyone can be proud of. • Jenny Kratochvil is always there for patients and her co-workers. Jenny, the director of Valley Respiratory Services, oversees the respiratory program at Lakeview, Hudson Hospital & Clinic, Amery Hospital & Clinic, and Westfields Hospital & Clinic. She makes sure every shift is covered—even if it means stepping in herself. “I don’t expect my team to do anything I wouldn’t do myself,” she says. Beyond her administrative and clinical roles, Jenny leads the Better Breathers support group, offering comfort and connection to patients and their families. She treasures moments of support, from playing cribbage with patients to hearing a family member say, “Your Jenny is here.” Known for her resourcefulness, Jenny is a partner for good, embracing each unpredictable day with enthusiasm. Her unwavering dedication, compassion, and leadership make her truly one of a kind.

  • Providing excellent emergency care is crucial to any hospital. At the HealthPartners Lakeview campus project open house, noise concerns related to ambulances were brought up. We asked our Lakeview EMS team to share more about how we work to be good neighbors. Our latest design plan calls for Lakeview EMS to remain off campus. EMS teams are trained to stabilize patients at the scene, which means lights and sirens are not always required to transport patients to the hospital. Fewer than 5% of our hospital transports arrive on campus using lights and siren. The average ambulance arrival with lights and siren is less than one ambulance per day, and the majority of those arrivals are between 7:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. We appreciate your feedback and are using it to finalize design concepts with the city. Stay updated with more of our open house summaries on our social media channels and at our Lakeview Hospital expansion website. • At the HealthPartners Lakeview campus project open house, traffic was a primary concern. We understand and as with our current Stillwater campus, we are committed to being good neighbors. Brandi Lunneborg, Lakeview Hospital president has an update on traffic related questions. • It was such a cool event! It was our honor to be a part of this year’s World Snow Celebration and support such a wonderful community event. The enthusiasm we saw from those who came out, embraced the season and stayed active despite the winter cold was so inspiring. We hope you enjoy these pictures that help capture the beauty, culture and tradition that is so important in our community.

  • We want to thank the more than 200 people who attended the HealthPartners Lakeview campus project open house this fall. We loved the enthusiasm and excitement around our future campus. Here’s a few examples of what we heard: • I am excited to carry over the excellent care and culture at Lakeview Hospital only in a more modern facility. • I am most excited to have only “one-stop” for a procedure instead of having to go to multiple locations . • I would like to see Lakeview consider a green campus, a sustainable facility, that is something people can be inspired by as they drive into Stillwater. We are listening to the positive feedback as well as concerns and it is helping us as we work with the city to finalize design concepts. Stay updated with more of our open house summaries on our social media and at https://lnkd.in/gFyNgkgr. • Is anything more Minnesotan than enjoying the cold fresh air of an evening stroll? The World Snow Celebration's Candlelight Winter Walk is a favorite for our volunteers. Participants get to experience the beauty of Browns Creek Trail as they walk along a candlelit path with gorgeous views of the scenic St. Croix River. A big thank you to the team that handed out hot cider to walkers and thank you to those who enjoyed the evening with us. The World Snow Celebration runs through Jan. 26.
