Check out this stunning photo of the Smith Tower featuring one of our King County Metro buses. 😍 I am definitely adding it to my transit-themed photo wall. 📷 from @ loganb.jpg on Instagram

Little Things Matter: Appreciating Our Transit Operators Last week, while walking around my project site, I came across King County Metro staff holding placards. Curious, I stopped by to learn more and discovered that March 18th was Transit Operator Appreciation Day, and the entire week of March 17th is Transit Appreciation Week! Public transit plays a crucial role in keeping our cities moving, and behind every smooth, safe, and reliable ride are the dedicated transit operators and staff who make it happen. A simple "thank you" can go a long way in recognizing their hard work and commitment. Small gestures make a big impact! 🚍🙏 A bit of history—King County Metro in Washington State first started Transit Operator Appreciation Day, and over the years, it has grown into a national event celebrating those who keep our communities connected.
