Nature is doing the heavy lifting in Apalachicola Bay, Florida. By restoring oyster reefs and salt marshes, we’re reviving a delicate ecosystem that sustains coastal communities, improves water quality and shields critical infrastructure from incoming waves. This living shoreline is a powerful, nature-based solution that combats erosion while bringing balance back to the bay — ecologically and economically. A healthier bay means a more resilient future for the people and wildlife who depend on it.
