We were grateful for the opportunity to present our AIA-accredited course, 2022 City of Denver Energy Code, offering 1 AIA LU/HSW, to the team at Hensley Lamkin Rachel Inc. We are focused on promoting knowledge and growth within our industry, and during the session, attendees explored the energy code requirements for commercial buildings’ mechanical, and plumbing systems and how the code impacts energy efficiency within the buildings. Pebblebrook High School, located in Mableton, GA, serves grades 9–12 as part of the Cobb County School District. It is also home to the esteemed Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts (CCCEPA), which provides students with specialized training in musical and technical theatre, drama, vocal music, and dance. CCCEPA students shine in multiple productions each year, with many graduates finding success on Broadway and beyond. We are grateful to have provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services for the Pebblebrook High School campus. This project included 44 classrooms, specialized science labs, a new 3,000-seat gymnasium, and a 750-seat high-performance theater—requiring seamless coordination with experts in lighting, acoustics, and stage rigging. Despite challenges such as phased construction to ensure safety while the school remained operational, along with pandemic-related delays, our team adapted to keep the process running smoothly. 🏫   Project Highlights: ✅ VAV rooftop units for the theater and competition gym. ✅ Two back-up generators and a new standard 2x4 LED light fixture system incorporated. ✅ Plumbing system featured a centralized domestic hot water system.   Architect: Cooper Carry General Contractor: Bowen & Watson, Inc.
