We're proud to support the next generation of innovators! TVS was honored to donate our design services to the Johnson STEM Activity Center by creating as-built documentation for the installation of NOAA’s Science on a Sphere, a six-foot animated globe that brings planetary science to life in an unforgettable way. Developed by NOAA and now installed at the Center with support from NASA, this immersive display system uses real-time data and powerful visuals to educate and inspire students about Earth and space science. The Johnson STEM Center, founded by inventor Lonnie Johnson, is dedicated to empowering underserved youth in Atlanta through hands-on STEM education. We're grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in advancing that mission!

Last week, Robert Svedberg, FAIA spoke at Event Lab 2025 in Medellín, Colombia where he shared his perspective on the future of the events industry. The conference brought together leaders from across Latin America to explore innovation and transformation in event design. 

We’re thrilled to see Erik Waldman, CVE recognized with this year’s Joseph J. Anzivino Distinguished Allied Award! His leadership and dedication continue to raise the bar for our industry. ICYMI: The Baird Center has recently earned LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council! This certification is awarded to projects that achieve a high level of sustainable performance. Among the Baird Center's many sustainable features are impressive design choices that prioritize efficiency and environmental responsibility: - 90% recycled steel — that’s 6,000 tons of repurposed materials used in construction! - The 320,000-gallon StormTrap® system helps manage stormwater effectively. - LowE and fritted glass enhances energy efficiency and prevents bird collisions. - The gray roof membrane provides durable protection ideal for Milwaukee’s climate. We are excited to celebrate the recent groundbreaking of the new Learning Commons at Whitefield Academy! Designed as the heart of campus, this dynamic facility will bring together dining, a maker space, a library, classrooms, campus administration and a space of worship, creating a central hub for student life. Anchored by a student commons at the intersection of the pedestrian quad and main drop-off, the space will foster connection, collaboration and innovation. The Learning Commons will serve as a cornerstone of campus life for years to come. 

We had a blast hosting these talented University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning and University of Florida Department of Interior Design students today! It’s always inspiring to connect with the next generation of architects and designers. Seeing their passion and curiosity reminds us why we love what we do.
