Older adults are uniquely vulnerable to tariffs co. Watch and share this important message from our CEO.

Tariffs don’t just affect imports—they affect people. For older adults, even small cost increases can have a big impact. Many are on fixed incomes, and the value of their assets just declined. Look at the stock market. And they’re often managing health conditions, and stretching every dollar. When prices rise on necessities like groceries, medications, or medical equipment, there’s no alternative. This population can’t wait for a self-inflicted wound to heal. Let’s not leave older adults out of the conversation. They matter. They have unique needs. They’re uniquely vulnerable to tariffs, and they VOTE. Speak up. Share this.

Jeff Bezos was about to walk away from his Wall Street career—and a massive bonus... His boss took him on a walk through Central Park and said: "This Amazon idea sounds great... for someone who doesn't have a stable career." But a simple framework made Jeff's choice painfully obvious. It's called the "regret minimization framework." Project yourself to age 80 and ask what you'd regret more. For Bezos, the answer was clear: He'd regret not trying more than failing. When asking major life choices, we focus on the wrong things: Short-term risks: • Leaving a stable job • Starting something new • Walking away from bonuses But the regret framework cuts through these temporary concerns. I have my own flavor of this concept... After selling my first company Meebo to Google, I had "success" by conventional standards. Yet despite this professional milestone, I found myself reevaluating what truly mattered in life. And that's when Jeff's regret framework really hit home: Let's say I were 2 weeks from death - what would I want to look back on? For me, the answer was clear: I wanted a happy family and a life's work trying to make the world better for those less fortunate than I. But what does meaningful work look like? Research shows it requires two key factors: 1. Earned success: Creating value that's recognized 2. Service to others: Making life better for people When these align, work transforms from a sense of obligation to purpose. But the regret framework is even more powerful because... It guides you to work where both elements naturally converge. Where your success directly correlates with helping others. Where every achievement has meaning beyond metrics. And this is exactly what Honor is doing: At Honor, we're changing how the world cares for older adults. Our mission resonates because we've all seen loved ones struggle with care. It's work where earned success and service aren't just concepts. They're built into everything we do. The impact is clear: Our care professionals find deep meaning in their work We strive to make working at Honor the best possible employment experience. Looking back, the regret framework didn't just help me decide... It guided me and my co-founders toward work that matters – to me and to others. At 80, we won't regret the bonuses we walked away from. But we will regret doing meaningless work which doesn't change lives. Today at Honor, we're transforming how care professionals support aging adults. It's challenging, meaningful work that no one regrets choosing. And we're just getting started. After building Honor and now walking into 50K+ homes weekly— 60M+ care hours annually—I'm sharing how we built a company tackling the world's aging challenge. A good reminder: Time is our most valuable resource. We're proud to spend our time solving meaningful problems so more people can age well at home, with the support they deserve.

I’ve always believed that how we spend our time is the most important decision we make - you can never get it back. We don’t always stop to ask ourselves if the work we’re doing actually matters—until we realize how little time we have. For me, the answer has always been clear: a) spend time with your family, setting them up to be as happy and fulfilled as possible and b) solve real problems that make life better for others who are less fortunate than you. That mindset shaped my journey, guided my decisions, and gave me the energy to build a company that was really hard, but really meaningful. If you’re starting something new, leading a team, or just figuring out what’s next, ask yourself—will you be proud of how you spent your time? #Leadership #MindsetMatters #PurposeDriven #StartWithWhy #EntrepreneurMindset

Your home has a fatal design flaw: Yes, it works for young people. But it becomes a death trap after age 60... Here's how the "Peter Pan Problem" is putting millions of lives at risk: We spend 60 million hours annually caring for older adults across America. The deadliest place for them? Their own homes. Most houses become death traps because of what I call the "Peter Pan Problem" — designing spaces like we'll never age. Take something as basic as changing a lightbulb at 80: • Climb a ladder? Risk a fatal fall • Skip it? Your house grows darker • Dark house? Triple your fall risk The data is haunting: • Falls alone cost Medicare $50B yearly • Only 10% of homes are "aging-ready" • By 2030, 1 in 5 Americans will be 65+ Yet the fixes are surprisingly simple: • Smart lighting systems • Bathroom grab bars • Wider doorways • Non-slip flooring • Motion sensors But here's the psychological barrier: We're all living in denial about aging. This denial is costing us everything: • Overwhelmed hospitals • Burned-out families • Lost independence • Preventable deaths Consider this: A 10-year boost in life expectancy could add $366.8T to the global economy. We're throwing away trillions because we can't face reality. Your house isn't just a space — it's a time bomb. The solution isn't waiting until we're 80. It's redesigning our world today. Because aging isn't optional. The only choice is whether we're ready for it. - Thanks for reading! After building Honor & spending 60M+ hours caring for older adults, I'm sharing what I've learned about how society ages. Follow me, Seth Sternberg for insights on using AI to solve society's biggest challenges, from a founder who's been doing it since 2016.
