National Defense Meets Local Manufacturing IMEC was proud to host this year’s National Defense University tours, where future defense leaders experienced firsthand the innovation, precision, and resilience of Illinois manufacturing. Today, we took a deep dive into advanced #automation for economic and national security. Special thanks to our incredible partners who opened their doors and shared their stories: Arc-Tronics, Inc. GAM Enterprises, Inc. Lawrence Foods, Inc. These tours give NDU attendees a ground-level view of the manufacturers who contribute to our national and economic security every day. From advanced electronics to automation and food production, these companies showcase the essential role U.S. manufacturers play in keeping our country strong. How Our Missions Align: Both IMEC and NDU are committed to strengthening the foundation of our nation, one through empowering manufacturers, and the other by developing strategic defense leaders. Together, we’re building a better-prepared, more resilient America. Experiencing the real-world challenges and innovations of manufacturing helps defense leaders make more informed decisions that impact supply chains, readiness, and our future. #IMEC #IllinoisManufacturing #NationalDefenseUniversity #ManufacturingMatters #MadeInUSA #ManufacturingTour #NationalSecurity #DefenseIndustry #LeadershipDevelopment #AmericanManufacturing David Boulay, David Musgrave, PMP MBA, Mark Loscudo Craig Van den Avont, Michael Goeringer

Please join us in congratulating Mike Waight, Regional Manager, on his IMEC anniversary today! Mike has had a rich history of being in manufacturing. Working in the wire harness manufacturing industry for more than 13 years, he has had broad exposure to CNC Machining, brazing, plating, heat treatment, plastic injection molding, and assembly. Mike's approach to helping a manufacturer is simple – ask questions in a manner that helps him truly understand what the issue is, why they’re experiencing it, how they’re being impacted by it, and what desired outcome they would like to achieve. Thank you Mike for all that you've done for the IMEC team and Illinois manufacturers! Here's to many years of success and impactful work! #workmilestone #Manufacturing #IMECTeam #Finance #IT
