    Imec’s capacitor-less IGZO-based DRAM has emerged as an enabling technology for high-density 3D DRAM and embedded DRAM. In a recent Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering publication, Attilio Belmonte and Gouri Sankar Kar discuss state-of-the-art capacitor-less IGZO-DRAM memory cells and how the technology can help tear down the memory wall in data-intensive applications.     Press release - Baden-Württemberg attracts imec to lead development of chiplet-based technology for automotive applications   Imec brings its innovation engine to Baden-Württemberg, with the launch of a new competence center at Heilbronn. This new competence center will closely work with the local ecosystem in the framework of imec's Automotive Chiplet Program to develop key technologies for next-generation autonomous and connected vehicles, and help build the skills needed to drive innovation in automotive, manufacturing, robotics, and mobility. Luc Van den hove, CEO of imec: "We are excited to bring our expertise and global partner network to Baden-Württemberg, the birthplace of the automotive industry. Together with our partners, we are poised to drive innovation through deep collaboration between research and industry, and ensure that Europe remains at the forefront of technological progress. We are looking forward to expanding our collaboration with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, and to liaising with the local universities."     Press release - Imec pioneers photonic code-division multiplexing #FMCW 144GHz distributed radar   In a world-first, imec built and tested a proof-of-concept photonics-enabled code-division multiplexing (#CDM) frequency-modulated continuous wave (#FMCW) 144GHz distributed radar system that ensures coherent chirps to remote radar units.   This proof-of-concept demonstrates successful range measurements, paving the way for multi-node radar systems with superior angular resolution.
