There's still time to join us in supporting survivors of human trafficking! Visit our Amazon wish list today to purchase items for Survivor Go Bags! https://lnkd.in/df5z8ctE
When law enforcement recovers individuals from human trafficking, the process is often swift, unexpected, and designed to protect victims from further harm. In these critical moments, survivors often leave their exploitation with little to nothing. A small act can bring comfort and restore dignity. A bag filled with personal hygiene essentials provides a sense of safety and hope at a time when it’s needed most. It's a simple yet powerful way to build trust and lay the foundation for meaningful, long-term support. We’ve curated a wish list of essential items to create these care bags, which will be distributed to our partners on the frontlines assisting survivors. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes an impact. Will you join us in supporting survivors of human trafficking? We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with South Africa’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI), a specialized law enforcement unit similar to the FBI in the U.S. Together, we’re strengthening efforts to combat human trafficking in South Africa, and bringing justice to survivors. #FightTrafficking #SouthAfrica #Collaboration #AntiTrafficking

Last week at #APPLevelUp2025, Lindsey Lane took the stage as the Impact Keynote speaker and delivered a powerful session. She broke down the evidence-based realities of human trafficking, addressed common misconceptions, and shed light on how payment platforms are increasingly used in trafficking schemes. Lindsey shared critical data from HTI’s Federal Human Trafficking Report, highlighting trends in the use of payment platforms within trafficking models. Equipped with this knowledge, industries like digital payments have the opportunity to proactively identify and disrupt these illicit activities. Interdisciplinary collaboration is vital in the fight to stop trafficking and protect victims. Huge thanks to the members of Association of Payment Professionals for their dedication to this cause. #EndHumanTrafficking #CollaborationAgainstTrafficking #FederalHumanTraffickingReport

“Every act of advocacy matters, every dollar donated matters, every individual effort matters.” In a recent #InContext article, Rachael Smith, HTI Douglass Fellow highlights Cleo Wade: a New York Times bestselling author and poet. Cleo is an inspiring reminder that change begins with small, meaningful actions. Through her art and advocacy, Wade encourages us to confront social justice issues like modern-day slavery with hope and perseverance—one step at a time. Read more about how Wade’s message inspires modern abolitionists to act with purpose and courage: https://lnkd.in/eXBkkmt3 #DecimateTrafficking #AdvocacyMatters #CleoWade
