🗣️ "You can't successfully support student's mental health if you don’t listen to them” - Denver H., Headstream Youth Co-Creator & Co-Founder of Fourddo, shared this powerful message in our "Empowering Student Well-Being" webinar. That's why we built the K-12 Mental Health Tech Navigator, a FREE tool to help school leaders find digital mental health resources that prioritize student needs. Whether you're starting or scaling, this Navigator provides a clear, evidence-backed roadmap to digital well-being in K-12. Navigating mental health tech can be overwhelming. The Navigator simplifies this, offering curated recommendations and expert insights 💡. To ensure expert knowledge and best practices are at its core, we collaborated with The Jed Foundation (JED) and the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute to co-create this platform. It's designed to help you build a supportive environment where student mental health thrives 🌱 Ready to support your students' mental health? This #WomensHistoryMonth, we’re spotlighting the Women in the Headstream Accelerator Alumni network who are transforming digital wellness, youth mental well-being, and equity. These leaders are breaking barriers to ensure young people have access to the mental health support they deserve. Yet, only 15% of startup founders are Women, and most Women-led startups have at least one male co-founder. Despite this, Women-led companies consistently drive innovation and deliver strong returns, studies show they achieve a 35% higher ROI than those run by men. It’s time to close the gap and invest in Women-led leadership. ✨ Ashley W. – Clymb, CEO 🎙️ Kayla Suarez – Astro Studios, Co-Founder 🧠 Mallika Reddy Pajjuri & hanxiao lu – psyche care, Co-Founders 📱 Laura Vitale – Modality, CEO 🔹 Paola Veglio – Peers.net by Flourish Labs, Head of Marketing 💡 Katherine Grill, PhD – Neolth, CEO & Co-Founder 🌿 💛 Maria Barrera – 💛 Clayful, CEO & Co-Founder 🏡 Damayanti Dipayana – manatee, CEO & Co-Founder 📢 Dr. Suzi Godson – Tellmi, Co-Founder & Co-CEO 📢 Invest in Women-led leadership by uplifting the founders shaping the future of youth mental health: https://lnkd.in/gcHxus6z #WomenInLeadership #YouthWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #WomensHistoryMonth #Headstream #WomenLeaders #HeadstreamAccelerator

📢 The Call Me Maybe Challenge is here! This funding opportunity, seeded by Pinterest and supported by Pivotal Ventures and Susan Crown Exchange, will invest $25K–$100K in solutions that help students, families, and educators navigate phone use in schools. 💡 Learn more in the post below! #CallMeMaybeChallenge #DigitalWellbeing #EdTech #YouthInnovation
🚀 $500K for Schools & Nonprofits—a new Young Futures Funding Challenge Launches Next Week!! Phones in schools are one of the most debated topics in education today. Some schools ban them outright, others have restrictive policies, and some fully integrate them into their schools—because of a pro-tech philosophy or a lack of funding for resources like chrome books. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution—the realities are varied and complex. What’s clear is that educators are on the frontlines of enforcement, no matter the policy—and they need support. And just as importantly, young people must lead the way. Their voices and experiences need to be at the center of these decisions, starting with the Youth Listening Tour that shaped this challenge, thanks to our partners at In Tandem. Here’s what we know: 📱Students crave agency—when they help shape phone policies, buy-in and outcomes improve. 📵 Policies and/or bans aren’t enough—without education on healthy tech habits, many young people struggle to self-regulate once phones are back in hand. 📊 We’re at a tipping point—schools are scrambling to set policies, and we have a rare window to make sure youth voices and real-world experiences shape those decisions. That’s why we’re launching The Call Me Maybe Challenge, a funding initiative seeded by Pinterest and supported by Pivotal Ventures and Susan Crown Exchange. 🎉 🔥We’re deploying $500K in rapid-response funding for up to 10 nonprofits (including schools!) scaling solutions that: ✅ Balance tech’s benefits with distraction-free learning ✅ Rebuild in-person social connection ✅ Give students a real voice in shaping school phone policies 📅 Applications open Wednesday, March 19! Check out the full RFP here: [https://lnkd.in/gVKY-DSM] and help us spread the word. Know a nonprofit school or that should apply? Send this their way! 🙌 Dr. Kristine G. Sierra Malia F.
