It was an exciting day for #GreaterROC and all of Western New York as Stadium Corporation Chair and Greater Rochester Chamber President & CEO Robert Duffy helped to celebrate the topping off ceremony for the new Buffalo Bills stadium with Governor Kathy Hochul, labor representatives, and more public and private partners. This transformative project has an estimated 30-year economic impact of $1.6 billion and has provided over 10,000 jobs. The new stadium will serve as a community hub for decades to come thanks to this public-private partnership and a Community Benefits Agreement. Thanks to New York State and the Bills team for including us in this exciting milestone as we prepare for opening day in 2026. Go Bills! 🦬

Congratulations to Nick Carleton and his Weld Works llc team on the ribbon cutting of their expansion and new Paint Works division! 👨🏭 Carleton, who is self taught, founded Weld Works in 2015 and they now employs 6 people with plans to hire. The company provides advanced custom metal fabrication for business and residential customers both in #GreaterROC and across the East coast. The new Paint Works division will provide high quality finishing service including painting, sandblasting, and powder coating. Thanks to Monroe County Legislator Virginia McIntyre and Town of Gates Supervsisor Cosmo Giunta for joining us to celebrate, and representatives from Senator Jeremy Cooney and Assemblymember Demond Meeks.
