Major milestone recap and a rare glance #BTS into all the work and thought our CEO Georgia Grace Edwards has put into getting our GoFly Technology into the places it is today. Major thank you to Colin True and Doug Schnitzspahn of Rock Fight for telling such an important part of our story!
One of the founding principles of Rock Fight is to always go a layer deeper than everyone else. So when it came to develop an interview based podcast we had to think how we would go deeper then what is already out there. We didn't want to make a show where the guest has to do all of the heavy lifting. The show needed to have a point of view on the subjects we'd be discussing as well as on the guests who would be brought on to explore those subjects. Enter our dream host: Doug Schnitzspahn. Doug is a person with more empathy then anyone I've ever met, the chops to hang with any outdoor athlete, and a journalist's thirst for finding the right story to tell. Because of Doug, Open Container was born. And today's episode of Open Container is my favorite one yet. In part because the subject is outdoor industry focused, so it's in my wheelhouse, but mostly because Doug's guest on today's show, Georgia Grace Edwards, absolutely brings it. GG is the founder of Gnara, famous for it's GoFly technology that is helping "everyone answer nature's call". She is a modern throwback to the early days of the outdoor industry where technical innovation was deployed to solve a real need in the outdoors. Something that truly helps people enjoy their time out of doors; GG is pioneering not only a brand but also a technology. As such she understands the founders hustle better than most. For my outdoor industry followers here on LinkedIn, this is an episode you don't want to miss.
