I recently returned from the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos and recount my experience in this article. Ruminations: Emerging Leaders at Davos #WEF25

I'm incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting #AM25 in Davos, Switzerland as part of the #Davos50 delegation. The Annual Meeting is held every year in Davos and convenes global leaders to address key global and regional challenges. This year’s theme centered discourse around Collaboration for the Intelligent Age – a prudent approach to navigating geo-economic fragmentation, geopolitical polarization and divisions over values in the context of technological transformation. I came away with three overall takeaways during my time at the conference: - Redefining economic growth to include social benefit will ensure enduring longevity 🌍 - The prudent allocation of capital will be the deciding factor in addressing the challenges of the future because this facilitates economic growth 📈 - Collaborative dialogue on mutual priorities yield the most opportunity to prevent further ideological divergence between East and West 🤝 I also would like to extend my utmost gratitude to the Global Shapers Community for creating such an amazing ecosystem of motivated youth and for facilitating life-changing experiences such as this. Much appreciation and admiration for Kenza M'haimdat, Albina Krasnodemska, Christa Odinga-Svanteson, Katie Hoeflinger, Raissa K., and Natalie Pierce - the GSC team of who worked tirelessly to put this opportunity together.
