Forget the red carpet—electric trucks get the Green Lane treatment at APM Terminals - Pier 400 Los Angeles. That means no waiting, faster turn times, and more turns per shift. More turns = more profit. Sounds like an easy choice to us. Our customer, Hunter Logistics, is a frequent flyer of the Green Lane at the Port of Los Angeles, leveraging their new Volvo Trucks North America electric truck to boost efficiency and keep freight moving. Carriers are reporting turn times at a fraction of the norm—proving that electric trucks aren’t just better for the environment, they’re better for business. Huge shoutout to the team at APM Terminals for opening the first Green Lane in the nation and driving real momentum for zero-emission freight. Moves like this push the industry forward and make an immediate impact. Want in? Lease rates start as low as $1,800/month for a brand-new electric truck. Pair it with Forum Mobility’s fast-charging depot, FM Harbor, located right at the Port of Long Beach—and your fleet is ready for more turns and higher returns. Contact Ron A Hunt or info@forummobility.com today to explore the most competitive Class 8 electric lease rates on the market. Ashley Esparza Denson White

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than going zero-emission? Today, Legacy Drayage Inc. officially electrified their fleet with the delivery of five Freightliner eCascadias from Daimler Truck North America—marking a major milestone on their journey toward zero-emission freight. “Legacy Drayage is proud to be taking its first step towards the future of zero-emission logistics. We’re committed to innovation and sustainability for our customers, and we’re excited to be a leader for a greener, more efficient supply chain.” — walter umana, Owner and CEO, Legacy Drayage These Class 8 electric trucks will charge at FM Harbor, our flagship depot at the Port of Long Beach, featuring 44 fast-charging dispensers and direct access to the International Gateway Bridge. Pictured are photos from the journey: at the FM Harbor Ribbon cutting; going to the Portland factory to see it roll off the floor (and check out the sweet new color!); and now, final delivery. Congratulations to Walter and the entire Legacy team! We’re proud to stand alongside forward-thinking fleet operators who are making bold moves for a cleaner future—especially on a day like today. Interested in electrifying your fleet? Let’s talk about how Forum Mobility can help power your transition.

Zero-emission trucks hauling zero-emission solar – what could be more on-brand for Earth Day? Scalable, zero-emission freight solutions are making a tangible impact today. Shippers and warehouses increasingly seek carriers capable of providing zero-emission solutions. In response, Forum Mobility recently partnered with Nextracker Inc. and Hight Logistics, Inc. to facilitate the zero-emission transportation of solar equipment for rPlus Energies’ Utah’s Green River Energy Center. Between August 2024 and January 2025, 60% of the project’s shipping containers traveled from the Port of Long Beach to Hight Logistics’ facility using Forum Mobility’s Class 8 charging solutions. Throughout this collaborative project, 524 containers traveled a combined 12,584 miles without emissions, significantly reducing Scope 3 emissions. These partnerships underscore the measurable benefits of zero-emission freight, providing precise emissions reporting that benefits both beneficial cargo owners and their customers. Forum Mobility is building charging depots up and down the West Coast. We can help in two ways: we can connect you with one of our customer fleets, or we can help the fleet you are working with transition to electric. Read the full case study about the collaboration effort with Forum Mobility, Nextracker, and Hight Logistics.

Ports are often the oldest parts of cities - and retain a throughline of economic and cultural importance to present day. This is a great story about the Port of Oakland's past - and the who/why/what of its major investment into a zero emission future. Forum Mobility is proud to support our hometown port's path to zero emission trucking. We're building an electric truck charging depot inside the port (right by the Roundhouse), and will be working on an effort to supply hundreds of new electric trucks to local drayage fleets at compelling rates. Success will mean both cleaner air for our communities, and lower costs per mile for carriers. Community and prosperity. https://lnkd.in/gTJbJPq3

Zero emission trucks, hauling zero emission solar equipment, to make more zero emission electricity, to fuel the zero emission trucks. What an awesome virtuous circle. Thanks to leadership companies like Nextracker Inc. and rPlus Energies, who are paving the way for the next generation of freight technologies. Nothing will make the wheels of zero emission freight turn faster than cargo owners preferentially contracting with zero emission carriers. Forum Mobility customer and partner Hight Logistics, Inc. delivered the goods without the emissions - and have a growing fleet of zero emission trucks that can provide zero emission drayage out of the Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles. Read the case study here https://lnkd.in/gAAdZM6d More cargo owners making a similar commitment to address their supply chain emissions and partner with carriers who make the investment to go ZEV will help this trend grow. Forum Mobility is building truck charging depots along the West Coast; if you are a cargo owner looking for ZEV solutions, reach out and we can connect you with a customer fleet to make it happen.
As the solar industry scales, so must our commitment to decarbonizing the supply chain. In recognition of Earth Month 2025, we are highlighting our mission to tackle transportation emissions at the source! In collaboration with Forum Mobility, Hight Logistics, Inc., and rPlus Energies, we’ve deployed a first-of-its-kind zero-emissions freight solution that has already cut 37,000 kg of CO₂ across 12,584 miles. The case study below features the 400 MW Green River Energy Center in Utah and a blueprint for cleaner, scalable logistics across the entire country.
