  • Few & Far, Luvhongo Housekeeper - Makhado/Waterpoort Area We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers from the Makhado/Waterpoort area to join our exceptional housekeeping team at Few & Far Luvhongo. As part of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the impeccable standards that define our 5-star luxury safari experience, working under the guidance of our Head of Housekeeping. Role and Responsibilities: Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation Make beds, change linens, and refresh towels according to lodge protocols Dust, vacuum, and polish surfaces in guest rooms and common areas Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, showers, toilets, and floors Restock guest amenities, beverages, and supplies according to standards Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or special guest requests to the Head of Housekeeping Maintain guest privacy and security at all times Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols Assist with laundry duties as required Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests Support the Head of Housekeeping in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies Participate in regular training to enhance skills and knowledge Position Requirements: Must reside in the Makhado/Waterpoort area Minimum Grade 10 education with basic English communication skills Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (hotel/lodge experience is an advantage) Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning protocols Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities throughout the work day Signs you'd be a good fit: You take pride in creating spotlessly clean environments You have excellent attention to detail You enjoy working as part of a team You are reliable and punctual You can work independently once trained You appreciate the beauty of the Soutpansberg area You are committed to environmental sustainability You are passionate about providing excellent service Signs you will not be a good fit: You dislike physical work You cannot maintain consistent standards of cleanliness You are uncomfortable working in a remote bush location You require constant supervision You are inflexible with scheduling and rotational work patterns How to Apply If you are a dedicated individual from the Makhado/Waterpoort area with a passion for cleanliness and excellent service, we encourage you to apply!
