Thank you to all the likeminded local business and community leaders who joined us this morning for Stay Work Play New Hampshire’s Board of Advisors meeting—especially Governor Kelly Ayotte, who spoke about the importance of workforce development in the Granite State. Kudos to our own Lisa Duval for providing the group with an overview of how our Manchester Community College NH Electrical Lineworker certificate program is preparing the next generation of lineworkers.

Emergency preparedness means we’re ready to roll when a storm hits. It means quicker and safer power restorations. And it was the hot topic during our meeting with NH Homeland Security and Emergency Management. We appreciated the opportunity to talk best practices, and to show them around our System Operations Center and Mobile Command Center.

A very important part of the Special Olympics Connecticut Winter Games is the snow! ❄️ Our volunteer snowmakers spend months before the games manufacturing and grooming the man-made course at our Windsor Operations Center so that athletes have optimal conditions for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
