We’re excited to share that the 3rd Annual Fremont Restaurant Week (March 21–30) was our biggest yet! 🍽️ More than 60 unique and diverse restaurants participated, each offering special promotions and exclusive menu items to celebrate Fremont's culinary community. With generous support from Fremont Bank, Yelp, and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, we were able to promote the event to an even wider audience this year, including bringing back the popular Restaurant Week Passport program, promoting through our website, social media, newsletters, printed materials, and much more. This resulted in increased foot traffic and new customers for many of our local restaurants during a time of year that is typically slower. While the public showed incredible support throughout Restaurant Week, we also saw City staff actively participating—grabbing lunch with coworkers, dining out after hours, and supporting Fremont's local eateries throughout the week. Your enthusiasm played a key role in making this event such a success! A big thank you to everyone who supported this incredible community initiative.

ICYMI - Hayward, CA's very own Endiatx, a medical technology company on a mission to revolutionize medical diagnostics using advanced microbotics and AI and Veev, By Lennar, a manufacturer of technology-driven modular homes, were nominated for 2025 East Bay Innovation Awards. Bestowed by the East Bay Economic Development Alliance, this award recognizes the spirit of innovation and impact these cutting-edge companies have on our communities. Endiatx took home an award in the Product & Technology category for PillBot. PillBot is a tiny robot patients swallow that provides a live video feed inside the body. This technology, which looks like a miniaturized submarine drone, promises to simplify the diagnostic process while reducing cost and time burdens for patients, clinics and hospitals. It can replace upper endoscopy procedures with minimal patient prep. EndiaTx CEO Torrey Smith gave a rousing acceptance speech that validated the role of these advanced industry companies have on real people. Check out his remarks in the video below where he talks about hiring a janitor who is now working as a R&D technician or the #EastBay high school teenagers that are now making a six-figure salary building these robots! That right there demonstrates how these companies are changing the world and creating socioeconomic mobility for all. 👉 Video here: https://lnkd.in/eda7Us4c Congratulations again to Endiatx and Veev, By Lennar on their recognition and achievements. Thanks for spending the evening with our Mayor and Council. Thanks for calling Hayward home. #haywardupward #innovation #eastbay #economicdevelopment Anthony Carroll
