Day one of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) Annual Conference was a success. We had many visitors during exhibit hours and met a special guest, Jason Carino, a long-time driver of Melton Truck Lines. Jason will be recognized later today as one of the five finalists for the TCA Highway Angel of the Year for his selfless act of bravery. After witnessing a tragic police shootout, he immediately stepped in, providing vital first aid to a wounded officer. His quick thinking and compassionate response exemplify the best of the trucking industry. We're honored to celebrate his heroism and unwavering commitment to safety along with other drivers from Maverick Transportation, LLC, Mercer Transportation, Elgin Motor Freight and Triple Eight Transport Inc.
