🤖🏆 Since 2012, CMT’s Brian Eads, PE, PTOE, has coached and mentored kids on the competitive Plus Gang robotics team for middle and high school students interested in STEM. The “garage” team of future engineers out of St. Louis, MO, designs, builds, and programs classroom-scale robots designed to follow autonomous commands before student drivers take control in two-on-two competition as part of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Tech Challenge. This season’s team of nine took state against 220 teams in Missouri/Kansas, earning a spot at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX! The four-day tournament will host 256 teams from 40+ countries this week. CMT is proud to support and sponsor the team – Go, Plus Gang!
